Composition:

Active ingredient: Bromazepam B.P. 3 mg/tablet.

Average dosage for outpatient therapy: 1.5-3 mg up to three times daily. Severe cases, especially in hospital: 6-12mg two or three times daily. These dosages are general recommendations and actual dosage should be individually determined.

Special dosage instructions:

If use of the drug is indicated in children, the dosage should be adjusted to their low body weight. Elderly and debilitated patients require lower doses because of individual variations in sensitivity and pharmacokinetics.

Restrictions on use:

Contraindications: Use of this drug in patients with a known hypersensitivity to Bromazepam and any of the excipients is contraindicated. In patients with myasthenia gravies who are prescribed Bromazepam, care should be taken on account of pre-existing muscle weakness. The established principle of not prescribing drugs of any kind in early pregnancy except when absolutely necessary should also be borne in mind. As the active ingredient of Bromazepam can pass into the breast milk, nursing mothers must not take Bromazepam.

استعمال پر پابندیاں:
