COMPOSITION:

INTRODUCTION:
Mecobalamin
is a co-enzyme type vitamin B-12 that occurs in the blood and cerebrospinal
fluid. It is taken up by nerves more actively and extensively than other
homologues of vitamin B-12 Biochemically, the metabolic pathways of nucleic
acids, proteins, and lipids through its involvement in the transmethylation
reaction; thus it exerts a repairing effect on injured nerve tissues.

PHARMACOLOGY:
Mecobalamin is well transported
to nerve cell organelles, and promotes nucleic acid and protein synthesis. It
promotes axonal transport of skeletal protein, axonal regeneration and myelination.
Mecobalamin also restores delayed synaptic transmission and diminished
neurotransmitters toward normal.

• Megaloblastic anemia due to vitamin B-12 deficiency

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
The usual adult dose is one
tablet three times daily. The dosage may be adjusted depending on the patient's
age and symptoms.
Injection
The usual adult dose is one
injection 1M or IV 3 times a week
OR
As directed by the physician.

خوراک اور انتظام:
بالغوں کی
معمول کی خوراک روزانہ تین بار ایک گولی ہے۔ خوراک مریض کی عمر اور علامات کے لحاظ
سے ایڈجسٹ کی جا سکتی ہے۔
انجکشن
ہے۔M یا IV بالغوں کی معمول
کی خوراک ہفتے میں 3 بار ایک انجیکشن

PRECAUTIONS:
Mecobalamin should not be used
for more than one month unless it is effective. Prolonged use of larger dose is
not recommended for patients who are directly involved in handling of mercury
and its compounds.

ADVERSE REACTIONS:
Mecobalamin is usually well
tolerable. GI disturbances and skin rashes may rarely occur
Avoid exposure to heat, light,
humidity and freezing.
Improper storage may
deteriorate the medicine injection should not be used if container is leaking,
solution is cloudy or it contains none dissolved particle.

لیک ہو رہا ہو، محلول ابر آلود ہو یا اس میں کوئی پگھلا ہوا ذرہ نہ ہو تو دوائی کا
انجکشن خراب ہو سکتا ہے۔
Caution:
This product is packaged in LPP (light protective packs) to ensure quality
during storage. The LPP should be opened immediately before using.
Storage:
This product should be stored in LPP, between 15 to 30 (If are kept out of the
LPP, the drug will upon exposure to so in the ampoule will decrease).

کیا گیا ہے۔ ایل پی پی کو استعمال کرنے سے پہلے فوری طور پر کھولنا چاہئے۔

اس پروڈکٹ کو ایل پی پی میں 15 سے 30 کے درمیان ذخیرہ کیا جانا چاہئے (اگر اسے ایل
پی پی سے باہر رکھا جائے تو ایمپول میں اس کی نمائش پر دوا کم ہوجائے گی)۔
